Choosing Your Lamp
Consider the space where you want to use the lamp – smoke or other irritants? computers or other electronic equipment? large open area or smaller space? adequate fresh air and sunshine or closed off area? Greater surface area of the lamp generates more of the healthy negative ions so a greater need indicates choosing a larger lamp. And are you drawn to a particular geometric shape such as the pyramid? Some of our customers have shared fascinating experiences while meditating with the lamps and candle holders.
Some websites suggest that generally, a small lamp is sufficient for ionizing a 15 square-foot room, a medium is good for 20’ to 25' area and a large for a 30’ to 35' room with a jumbo recommended for a 40’ to 45' room. Caring For Your Lamp
To care for your salt lamp wipe with a damp cloth periodically to remove settled dust. In a humid climate you may want to wrap the lamp in plastic if it remains unlit for extended time as moisture may collect and drip from the crystal. Take care to place something under an unlit lamp to protect furniture from dripping moisture. Better yet, if you can, leave them always on for continuous benefit.
